The exhibition shows how the school of one master influenced several generations of stage artists and painters. The audience is invited to see how directorial thought, scenography, and graphics form a common artistic language of an entire creative environment. The project is based on the legacy of director and artist Nikolai Akimov, whose works are associated with the formation of a vibrant visual image of the domestic theater of the mid-20th century. The exhibition features expressive graphic portraits of contemporaries, sketches of decorations and costumes, as well as posters for performances, which trace how the perception of stage space and character changed. A separate layer is connected to the pedagogical activity of the master. The visitor becomes acquainted with the artists who studied with him and later became an important part of cultural history. On the walls coexist deformed human figures, monumental abstractions, and expressive fantasies, demonstrating how freely the students dealt with form and color while maintaining respect for the teacher's stage thinking.
