The exhibition introduces the paintings and graphics of Igor Myasnikov - an artist for whom landscape was the main way to speak about the world, memory, and the inner state of nature. The exhibition features over 80 works and allows viewers to see the master as a painter and restorer. The project is dedicated to the creative legacy of Igor Myasnikov and showcases him as an artist with extensive professional experience. He has gone through the path of a painter, educator, and restorer of monumental painting, created hundreds of paintings, participated in dozens of exhibitions, and taught in the field of art education. The exhibition collects more than 80 paintings and graphic works created from 1988 to 2021. This range allows us to see how his authorial style was formed and developed. An important part of the artist's biography was his education at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture of Ilya Glazunov, followed by a trip to Italy with Ilya Sergeyevich. The acquaintance with Renaissance art, as noted in the exhibition materials, played a significant role in his development as a draftsman and colorist. His work as a restorer deserves a separate discussion. Myasnikov participated in the recreation and restoration of paintings in more than 17 churches and monasteries, including the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on Chisty Vrazhke.
