A joint project of two artists revolves around movement, inner tension, and the impossibility of escaping from oneself. The paintings and kinetic objects create a space where form loses stability and begins to live by its own rules. The project continues the dialogue between Ivan Chemakin and Elena Filaretova, for whom movement becomes a way of existence for the artwork. Their works are born at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and object art, making the usual genre boundaries conditional here. The form gathers and disintegrates, silhouettes lose clarity, and different artistic languages begin to reach out to each other. The art in the exhibition does not settle in one point and eludes final interpretation. An image can behave like an object, an object like a trace of a gesture, and space like an extension of an inner state. The curator of the project, Pyotr Bely, speaks about the impossibility of escape, primarily from oneself. This thought becomes the axis of the exhibition.
