The exhibition shows the other side of porcelain beauty - from the first hesitant strokes on the white "linen" to bold experiments with forms that were born in the workshop. The viewer finds themselves alongside the artists at the moment when the service is still searching for its character, and each mistake becomes material for new discoveries. At the center of the story is ceramics, which is usually seen as flawless. Here, the attention is intentionally shifted to samples, test plates, and items with painting defects. By the drips of paint, shifted outlines, and awkward ornaments, one can literally read how the search for the right shade and precise pattern unfolded. These items have rarely been shown to the public, but it is precisely they that allow one to feel the tension and excitement of working in the workshop. A separate section is dedicated to service forms created for the princely circle in the first third of the 19th century. They show how fashion and ideas about what a festive table should be changed. Next to the elegant forms are items that did not pass the conditional "quality control" - and in this contrast, the scale of the work of artists and technologists is especially noticeable. The exhibition emphasizes the human dimension of porcelain craftsmanship. Behind each item, one can sense the working days of the workshop, long hours at the kilns, and a profession that requires patience and precision. Together, they form a vivid story of how things were born in ceramic workshops that are admired today in museum interiors. The exhibition takes place in the "Caprice" pavilion.
