Alexandra Pavlovskaya transforms an unfulfilled conversation with her mother into a space of metal, reflections, and fragments of memory. The installation explores how the recognition of others coincides with the personal experience of the viewer. Alexandra Pavlovskaya shows a state where events cannot be changed, and the unspoken continues to define the present. Specifically for the exhibition, the artist created an installation and new works in metal. The cold, durable material became a form for experiences that are difficult to hold onto and even harder to name. The composition confronts opposites: childhood and adulthood, emergence and disappearance, ripening and withering. These pairs do not coalesce into a straightforward narrative but set the rhythm of movement between memories. Nearby, objects from the series "On the Surface" are presented. They resemble mirrors in which the past returns in fragments and looks different each time. The reflection here is connected to a mutable, incomplete memory that depends on the current state. The personal confession remains barely marked, so the viewer completes it with their own associations. The story of another gradually loses distance and begins to resonate with familiar feelings: guilt, tenderness, resentment, or the need to say important words. The exhibition is located at the "Future" / Futuro gallery on the territory of "Vinzavod."
