The exhibition cycle offers to explore the image of the Madonna with child through the works of Italian masters of the Renaissance from private Russian collections. At the heart of the project is one of the most significant themes in European art: the Madonna and child as a symbol of love, protection, and spiritual closeness. Viewers are invited not to rush through the large hall, but to linger before a single work, examining facial expressions, hand movements, light, and painterly nuances. The first showing was dedicated to the painting "Madonna with Two Playing Infants." Its author is a student of Leonardo da Vinci. The focus is on the child, maternal tenderness, tranquility, and inner harmony. The cycle will continue with works by Giovanni Bellini, Luca Signorelli, and Francesco Granacci. Each new piece will reveal a different facet of the era, where the religious theme intertwined with an interest in humanity, its beauty, dignity, and emotional life.
