On the 250th anniversary of Karl Rossi's birth, an exhibition dedicated to the work of the great architect is presented, whose ensembles became a symbol of St. Petersburg and the pinnacle of 19th-century architecture. Karl Rossi is an architect whose name is inextricably linked to the appearance of the Northern capital. His creations embodied the ideals of harmony, grandeur, and artistic perfection of the era. The exhibition reveals the architect's journey from student works to the creation of ensembles that shaped the architectural appearance of St. Petersburg in the 19th century. Visitors will see more than 150 original projects, drawings, and sketches, as well as furniture, glass, and decorative items created according to the master's designs. Several sections include rare graphics and archival materials illustrating the architect's working process and contemporary views on his works.
