Where to see the best dogs of Russia and service dogs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs? In St. Petersburg, a grand show with an international judging panel will take place for the first time. Admission is free! The project "Best Dogs of Russia / RKF. Champion Show", founded in 2017, in collaboration with the Russian Cynological Federation, launches a nationwide series of regional exhibitions starting from St. Petersburg. Hundreds of dogs will enter the rings - from world-famous breeds to the rarest breeds that can only be seen live at such events. Participants will be evaluated by a unique international judging panel from Thailand, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, South Korea, and the USA. The two-day program will involve both professionals and amateurs: August 1 (Saturday) - baby and puppy competitions, young handler contests, champion rings, dog dancing, and bright performances by the cynological units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the National Guard, and the FSIN. August 2 (Sunday) - champion exhibition, international grooming competition, spectacular finals, and demonstration performances of service calculations. The event will also feature presentations of social initiatives involving shelters, guide dogs, and canine therapists. Guests will have the opportunity to communicate with the best breeders in the country, ask questions to the owners of titled champions, and learn everything about the peculiarities of keeping their favorite breeds. Event organizer Nicolas Pineiro: "The project 'Best Dogs of Russia' goes beyond the traditional exhibition, transforming into a large-scale socially significant event, as the mission of the project is to unite the cynological community, support professional breeders and handlers, and promote responsible and humane treatment of animals. In St. Petersburg, we will gather everything that is interesting for both professionals and families with children in one place: from touching puppies to spectacular dances and the work of groomers. And the international jury guarantees objectivity and a high status for the event. We want to show how important responsible care and maintenance of pets is."
