This large-scale project introduces the art of lacquer miniatures as a living chronicle of the country - from folk tales to a modern perspective on history. Over three hundred works demonstrate how great meanings were born in small forms. The exhibition unites about 300 works of lacquer miniature painting and transforms them into a single narrative about culture, memory, and continuity. The works of masters from Fedoskino, Palekh, Mstera, and Kholuy serve as a bridge between the past and the present, where each box, panel, or icon holds the imprint of an era. In the halls, works by more than fifty recognized artists are presented - from the authors of the "Silver Age," who breathed new energy into the tradition, to contemporary masters who continue to develop the language of lacquer miniatures today. Visitors will see items dedicated to folk life of the 18th and 19th centuries, dramatic pages of history, and the theme of spiritual unity. A recurring motif is the ancient epic, read anew - as a historical symbol and a contemporary statement. The project reminds us that lacquer miniatures are a true concentrate of national culture, where the strictness of icon painting merges with folk imagery and bright colors. The exhibition is complemented by a rich educational program with lectures, tours, quests, and an audio guide that helps to explore details and hidden plots.
