The winter exhibition invites you to look at history and art through one of the most emotional colors. More than a hundred items show how red has become a symbol of eras, feelings, and ideals. The festive mood here is created by color - rich, bold, and attractive. The exhibition features paintings, posters, sculptures, porcelain, crystal, and fabrics from the museum's collection, united by various shades of red. This color resonates in different ways: as a sign of revolutionary fervor, as the energy of life, and as an aesthetic dominant of everyday life. Visitors will see works by Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin, Konstantin Yuon, Oganes Tatevosyan, Vera Mukhina, as well as pieces by masters of artistic porcelain. For many authors, red was not just an expressive technique, but a key element of artistic language. The exhibition is divided into three thematic blocks: red as a symbol of revolution, red as the embodiment of life force, and red as part of urban and cultural memory. The project is complemented by a display installation reminiscent of a winter garden, where contemporary artists refer to the image of the "scarlet flower" - a symbol of beauty, hope, and inner warmth.
