The exhibition summarizes a rich creative year and marks a radical turn in the author's artistic language. The focus is on the rejection of multicolor in favor of extreme expressiveness and a serious tone. Egor Koshelev's personal project sums up the results of his intensive work over the past year, which has become a time for re-evaluating artistic approaches. A significant part of this period was spent by the artist outside the capital, consciously limiting himself in color. He temporarily abandoned a wide palette, choosing an ascetic solution to focus on images and the overall emotional tone of the works. This search materialized in two major series created for regional projects. The Moscow exhibition unites them, turning them into an independent chapter of his work. The title refers not only to the dominant colors but also to the literary context, adding meaningful depth. One cycle is related to the Ivanovo project, the other to the Nizhny Novgorod project, and each reveals different aspects of the chosen strategy. For the artist's figurative painting, such a step became a conscious risk and a school of inner discipline. He reminds us that many key works of world painting were monochromatic, and believes that modernity demands plastic rigor, which is particularly met by the technique of grisaille. Viewers will notice a change in tone: in the new works, there is less irony and stylistic play, more simplicity and focus. The author offers the audience a direct and honest conversation about painting, its possibilities and limits, as well as how to talk about complexity today using extremely restrained artistic means.
