The project brings together rare examples of Danish porcelain and shows how artistic traditions have changed over different historical periods. The exhibition reveals the scale of Scandinavian manufacturing and its influence on Russian culture. The history of Danish porcelain is presented as a series of artistic searches that reflect the tastes of Europe. The exhibition has gathered rare samples, court household items, and authorial works. It shows how techniques and aesthetics changed over two centuries. The exhibition tells about the development of the Copenhagen manufactory, which became a significant center of European ceramics. The items demonstrate the masters' attention to texture, color, and fine painting, thanks to which Danish porcelain acquired a distinct artistic style. Through the presented items, it is noticeable how Scandinavian plastic gradually penetrated the Russian cultural environment. A special place is occupied by the collection of the "Kuskovo" museum, which has been formed since the 1920s and is associated with the legacy of Maria Fyodorovna. Her influence determined the interest in Danish porcelain in Russia, and many items from her collection became an important part of the exhibition.
