The printing press here becomes a translation device: the familiar artistic language enters a new plane and begins to behave differently. The project shows how chance and the trace of material change the concept. The project involves authors from various fields - painting, photography, design, and architecture. For many of them, the print has become a new experience, where one cannot completely hide behind the familiar technique. Paper, paint, pressure, texture, and the movement of the press work alongside the human. Printmaking is often associated with repetition, editions, and precision, but here it reveals itself through risk. The print may shift, the line may tremble, the layer may lie differently than planned. Such moments are not masked but left visible. An important theme of the project is the collision of control with material. The personal handwriting passes through translation and returns changed. Participants explore not only the finished sheet but also the very path to it - with trials and discoveries. In addition to printmaking, the halls feature objects, ceramics, video, and an olfactory installation. All of them continue the conversation about the print as a trace: physical, emotional, accidental, or intentionally left.
