The third stage of the exhibition-competition "Victorious Russia in the Art of Folk Crafts" will take place in Kazan. Masters from more than 40 regions of the country will present unique works in various forms of folk art dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory. The exhibition-competition will gather more than 65 organizations, educational institutions, and individual artisans. Visitors will see works in the categories of artistic wood processing, metal painting, ceramics, jewelry art, and other directions. The works reflect important historical events from the Battle of Neva to the present day. The event is organized by the Association of "Folk Crafts of Russia" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. A unique collection of exhibits from the funds of state and municipal museums of the country and from the private collections of the Association of "Folk Crafts of Russia", assortment cabinets, and corporate museums of craft organizations will also be presented. A special place will be occupied by the interactive zone "City of Masters". Here, artists will demonstrate the techniques of Dymkovo and Skopin toys, fabric and wood painting, weaving, embroidery, felting, and other traditional crafts. Guests will be able to participate in master classes and get acquainted with the process of creating products. The works of the participants will be evaluated by the Expert Council, and the winners will receive prizes, scholarships, and diplomas of laureates.
