Personal belongings, paintings, documents, and materials about cinema come together to form a portrait of an author for whom creativity has always been linked to the era and personal responsibility. The exhibition offers a chance to see Stanislav Govorukhin in all the complexity of his nature. Before the viewer appears a man for whom cinema, painting, literature, and public activity were parts of a unified inner world. The space is divided into thematic blocks. One of them addresses the beginning of the journey and sets the overall tone of the narrative, another recalls the films that brought the author special audience love, and the third focuses on his social cinema and the tough conversation with the era. A particular interest is aroused by the recreated study of the master with personal belongings, paintings, and everyday objects. Posters, letters, photographs from the shoots, and paintings show a lively character - enthusiastic, observant, and internally composed. KUDAGO presents the current program in Moscow.
