The exhibition introduces original illustrations by Viktor Chizhikov, materials from his personal archive, and rare editions. It features drawings for works by well-known authors and the artist's own fairy tales. Viktor Chizhikov entered history as a master who managed to combine the warmth of children's emotions and the liveliness of characters in his drawings. The exhibition presents original illustrations for books by Irina Tokmakova, Lia Geraskina, Evgeny Schwartz, Alexander Volkov, Korney Chukovsky, and Gianni Rodari. Visitors will see the artist's original works for his own fairy tales about Petya and Potapa, which continue the folk story of the man and the bear. A separate section is dedicated to the master's biography. Here, materials from the family archive are collected, including documents related to the creation of the Olympic Bear, fragments of the book "Artist Viktor Chizhikov," and interviews. Visitors will get acquainted with correspondence, manuscripts, and items reflecting the creative atmosphere in which the images were born. A play area with tasks and materials based on illustrations for the magazines "Murzilka" and "Funny Pictures" has been prepared for children. For adults, this is a meeting with visual memories of the books that accompanied them in their youth, and for children, it is a discovery of a world where characters become protectors from the gray everyday life.
