The exhibition introduces the creative legacy of Vladimir Nemukhin and showcases over 70 works of various genres, including rare sculptural experiments. Part of the exhibition consists of works by the artist's friends. Vladimir Nemukhin entered history as one of those artists who refused to follow established canons and created their own language. His work became a symbol of courage and freedom of thought, and the pieces can be viewed as a kind of diary of the era. The exhibition demonstrates the scale of his journey: from the first painting experiments of the late 1950s to the mature works of the new millennium. In the halls, paintings, graphics, decorative items, and porcelain coexist, which the artist used as yet another opportunity for experimentation. Particular attention is drawn to wooden constructions and sculptural compositions-dedications. In them, the artist's interest in searching for new forms is clearly visible, as well as his relationship with friends and contemporaries. Important additions included documents and letters. A separate part of the project is dedicated to the gift that Nemukhin, together with the Moscow authorities, presented to the Tretyakov Gallery: 12 works by the legendary sixties artists were for the first time in one space.
