The project addresses the graphic legacy of Dmitry Lion and his reflections on memory and history. Through an author's language of minimal expressive means, one of the most tragic themes of the 20th century is revealed. The project is dedicated to the legacy of Dmitry Lion - a graphic artist and thinker who occupies a special place in the art of the second half of the 20th century. He consciously remained outside official and unofficial movements, building his own artistic language. Lion developed the concept of the "light-bearing sheet," where the image is born from minimal means - a short stroke, a dot, a barely noticeable touch. His work exists on the border between the tangible and the abstract. Lion's key theme is the tragedy of the Holocaust, which became a starting point for the master's reflections on human history and memory. Beginning to work in the mid-1950s, Lion took on the task of visually interpreting the catastrophe.
