The exhibition addresses the personality and legacy of the writer for whom the memory of war and responsibility for culture were a matter of life. The project, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Konstantin Simonov, is structured as a detailed narrative about the fate and scale of the personality. The basis of the display consists of materials from the museum collection: manuscripts, letters, official documents, books, artworks, and personal items donated by the author and his relatives. Previously, these testimonies had not been presented so fully and consistently. The exhibition goes beyond the usual image of a war correspondent. A significant place is devoted to Simonov's activities as a defender and mediator of culture - a person through whom banned or forgotten names were revived, new editions and exhibitions appeared, and the post-war cultural agenda was formed. The theme of war is shown in development: from direct observations and diary entries to later literary generalizations. Special attention is given to personal front-line diaries, which became the basis for the book "Different Days of War," as well as projects for capturing living testimonies of the war - recordings of veterans' memories for documentary film. The first section is dedicated to the early years - childhood, education, and the beginning of the literary path. The second focuses on the post-war period when Simonov held key positions in the literary environment, supported theaters and exhibition initiatives, and actively participated in the institutional life of culture.
