The exhibition introduces viewers to a rich collection of works of domestic art from this and past centuries. In the new space of the Museum of Art of St. Petersburg of the 20th-21st centuries, paintings, sculptures, and installations are presented. The exhibition features over 100 works from the collection of the Museum of Art of St. Petersburg of the 20th-21st centuries - paintings, sculptures, installations, and decorative applied art objects. These works, created by masters of different generations, form a unique mosaic of eras, where each exhibit becomes a fragment of the artistic history of the city. The exhibition is structured on the principle of dialogue between forms and styles. The route leads through the official art of the USSR, the underground, and modern searches for new means of expression. Special attention is given to the figures of artists and collectors whose efforts shaped the museum's collection. Among them are representatives of the Leningrad school, masters of the 1980s-1990s, and authors of a new generation. Among the artists are Zaven Arshakuni, Igor Petrov, Viktor Teterin, Yuri Penushkin, Yuri Pavlov, Anatoly Basin, and Gennady Ustyugov.
