The exhibition showcases news photography from two sides: as a frame that entered history and as a result of a reporter's work. The focus is on pairs of "camera - shot". Next to the photograph of Vladimir Lenin in the Kremlin is the camera "Joachim & Co." used by Pyotr Otsup in 1918. The "Leica IIIa" camera nicknamed "Annushka" accompanies the shots of Evgeny Khaldei, who went through the war with it. Thus, the history of photojournalism is revealed through craftsmanship. The viewer sees how optics and methods of image transmission have changed, along with the pace of the correspondent's work. The cameras and lenses are provided by the curator of the project, Sergey Shahidzhanyan. Where to go in Moscow today will be told by KUDAGO.
