The exhibition addresses contemporary painting as a language capable of accurately capturing the state of the times. In focus is a generation of artists who have emerged in the 21st century. They are united by an academic school and a desire to rethink its principles. Each author follows their own path: from precise representation of reality to an emotional, almost non-objective painting language. The exhibition is structured as a series of independent spaces where the works are revealed "up close". Painting is complemented by graphics, sculpture, and objects, allowing the images to extend beyond the plane. Through personal stories and experiences, a complex picture of modernity is formed. It intertwines the private and the general, with the human being at the center - their attempt to comprehend what is happening and to maintain a sense of meaning.
