MMoMA presents a new research project as part of the "Collection. Point of View" program. For the first time, the museum has gathered an exhibition entirely focused on non-objective art. The exhibition demonstrates how multifaceted and vibrant this direction remains, having long gone beyond the boundaries of classical modernism. Works from the second half of the 20th century to the early 21st century are highlighted, where abstraction appears as a language of ideas, emotions, and philosophical quests. Visitors will be invited to consider the interaction between two key lines of development in non-figurative art - clear geometric construction and free expression. This arrangement allows for the observation of different ways of artistic expression, united by a single motif. The exhibition includes works by Yuri Zlotnikov, Leonid Borisov, Eduard Steinberg, Oleg Tatarintsev, Igor Vulokh, Elizaveta Olshanskaya, Natalia Parkhomenko, and others. Specially for the exhibition, works have been provided by Alena Kirtcova, Pavel Belan, and Ivan Novikov. Many canvases and drawings are being shown for the first time.
