The prize, determined by the audience, is held at Erarta for the fourth time. 40 authors will present competitive works in various forms of visual art, and all museum visitors will be able to vote for their favorite pieces. From February 6 to June 7, the exhibition of nominees for the prize is once again taking place in the Great Hall of Erarta. The works of 40 contemporary authors are presented in a large-scale exhibition, and who among them will be the best of the best will be determined by museum visitors through voting. The first round has already started and will last until April 20. Ten artists who receive the most votes will advance to the second round, which will run from April 21 to June 3. Every vote is very important for the authors, as the distribution of places depends on the viewers. In addition to voting, visitors can support their favorite artist by purchasing their work: this year, all works participating in the Prize are available for purchase. The results of the Prize and the grand prize winner will be announced on June 4 at the finissage. Art is created by the artist, but its significance is only realized through the perception of the viewers. This is the philosophy of Erarta. Therefore, the prize organized by the museum is awarded not by an expert jury, but by the audience - holders of valid tickets to the museum. Voting will be conducted in two rounds. Each visitor will be able to cast their vote for any competitive work based on their own tastes and preferences. The Erarta Prize was established in 2023. The museum continues to collaborate with the participating artists, more than ten of whom have already presented their solo exhibitions to the visitors of Erarta. Details are available on the official website.
