The exhibition is dedicated to the paintings of Yuri Arsenyuk - a representative of the Moscow school of realistic painting and an educator, for whom tradition remains the foundation of artistic language. Landscapes, still lifes, and genre compositions come together in a reflection on the seasons, memory, and continuity in art. The exhibition introduces the work of Yuri Arsenyuk - an artist and professor at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture of Ilya Glazunov. In his works, careful attention to drawing, form construction, and classical painting technique plays an important role. For Arsenyuk, the change of seasons becomes an opportunity to observe nature and simultaneously a way to speak about the inner state of a person. The artist's journey began with sketches of plants in the family garden, then continued in a drawing studio and Glazunov's workshop. Later, he became one of those who support the academic education system, developing the direction of copy painting. The exhibition features works from different years - landscapes, still lifes, and genre compositions. Winter scenes are replaced by spring flowers and calm rural views. Flora occupies a special place in his painting: lilacs, irises, peonies, and other plants become a reason to work with light and color. The artist's method is based on a sequential approach with an underpainting, glazes, and a thick layer of paint.
