The project of the creative group "Concrete Silence" gathers paintings and graphics about the city, industrial landscapes, and inner search. The artists view the cold environment as a space where beauty, love, and faith in a better future can still be found. The participants of the creative group "Concrete Silence" look at the city without the usual romanticization, but also without cold alienation: in rough textures, heavy silhouettes, and gloomy motifs, they find traces of tenderness, hope, anxiety, and spiritual thirst. Some works sound lyrical, almost intimate, while others choose a harsher, grotesque, or brutal language. An important theme of the project is the foreignness of values in a world where the material often displaces the inner.
