About

The exhibition by two artists, Yulia Reznikova and Natalia Kondratova, transforms the hall into a space of internal falling and slow rising. Graphics, painting, and print techniques here gather a new language from pain and confusion, where fragility coexists with resistance and hope, and personal experiences become a shared experience. At the Creative Industries Center "Fabrika," the project by artists Yulia Reznikova and Natalia Kondratova turns the assembly hall into a fragile zone between despair and hope. Here, one must look into the very core of what has been experienced and notice how personal pain gradually acquires a universal scale. The starting point was several difficult years when familiar supports ceased to function one after another. This experience is translated by the artists into the language of graphics and painting: lines tear and are reassembled, color spots flare up and fade, and the sheets resemble fragments of an internal diary recorded without the right to censorship. In the spaces around the large hall, the viewer is greeted by small graphic sheets and textual statements hung in a dense chain. It feels as if you have found yourself inside a fast murky stream, where fragments of thoughts and images replace each other without pause. These are not illustrations of the news agenda, but visual traces of lived states - fear, anger, helplessness, an attempt to hold onto meaning. In the central hall, the tone changes. Along the bottom of the walls, large works are arranged, resembling low notes from which a complex fugue begins. Dense dark canvases create a sense of weight and depth. Above them rise new works created based on earlier series and reinterpreted in scale and material. Color becomes brighter, lines sharper, compositions freer, as if within a heavy choir a clear solo statement emerges. The artists consciously choose classic mediums - painting on paper and wooden panels, easel and print graphics. In an era of instant images, such a choice sounds like an act of trust in the hand and slow contemplation.
