The exhibition reveals the work of Beatrice Sandomirska - a master whose name has long been in the shadows. The project collects her works into a narrative about a sculptor who combined traditional schooling, avant-garde experience, and her own sense of form. The exhibition addresses the figure of Beatrice Sandomirska as a sculptor who managed to build her own version of modernist plasticity, where strict schooling, inner freedom, and interest in world art merged into a cohesive language. The exhibition is organized thematically: the halls unite works from different years, but similar in images and ideas. This approach allows us to see how the author remained true to her style over the decades. Both the influence of Russian sculptural tradition and interest in cubism, primitivism, African plasticity, and the ability to process all this without imitation are important here. Alongside sculpture, graphics and drawings are shown, which were mainly used as sketches, but even in the original works, the spirit of plasticity is evident.
