The exhibition examines the book as an artistic object structured according to the laws of architecture. Visitors are invited to trace how the binding, graphics, and structure of the publication come together as a whole, behind which lies the work of artists, publishers, and print masters. The project offers a perspective on the book as a building with its own facade and interiors. One section showcases tools and samples of decoration, from intricate embossing and gilding of edges to embroidery and appliqué. These examples highlight how the outer shell sets the tone for the entire publication. Another part of the exhibition is dedicated to printing techniques. Visitors are reminded of woodcut, lithography, etching, and shown prepared stones and plates, explaining how a page is formed step by step. The concluding block introduces original graphics and the artist's book (livre d'artiste). Works by contemporary authors are presented as visual "windows" into the text, alongside handmade and limited-edition publications, including projects from the "Vita Nova" publishing house.
