Architects propose their own versions of how Moscow may change in the coming years - from new public spaces to reimagined living environments. The exhibition brings together ideas about a city where the environment becomes an extension of human habits and needs. The Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the educational platform A-House present a project dedicated to the interaction between humans and the urban environment. The exhibition is part of the architectural festival A-Fest 2026 and occupies the building of the Educational Center of MMoMA on Yermolaevsky Lane, historically connected to the architectural community of Moscow. The exhibition unfolds over two floors and gathers works from 19 studios. Curator Monica Nors builds a route around two themes: urban voids that fall out of the usual structure of the metropolis, and internal spaces designed for new life scenarios. Among the presented projects are a deep pool for free diving training, a museum with open access to a private collection, a waterfront district in the Mnevniki floodplain, and ideas for utilizing spaces between residential buildings.
