The exhibition unfolds at the intersection of art and aviation. It showcases a person for whom flight, memory of time, and painting have become parts of a single biography. At the center of the project is the fate of Andrey Yumashov, who managed to leave a significant mark in two worlds. On one hand, the viewer is presented with a participant of the legendary transpolar flight. On the other hand, an artist of the Moscow school, whose painting and graphics were born from a careful gaze and inner focus. The exhibition closely examines the post-war period of life. After completing his service, Yumashov directed his efforts towards creativity. His works are perceived as a way to restore balance and redefine his place in life. The halls feature paintings and graphic works, documents, memorial items, photographs, and film chronicles. The narrative is complemented by sketches made during expeditions, as well as works by artists whose influence helps to feel the context more accurately.
