At the meeting, participants will create their own stories inspired by proverbs and sayings. The Lermontov Library will once again host an event from the "Intellectual Breakfast at Lermontov" series - the meeting "Proverbs and Sayings as Helpers in Story Therapy". The focus is on story therapy, but not in the usual form. This time, the emphasis will be on how proverbs and sayings can serve as a foundation for building a therapeutic story. These ancient forms of folk wisdom carry archetypal meanings that help us look within ourselves and find answers to important inner questions. Participants will not only get acquainted with the theoretical part of the method but also try it out in practice - composing their own story based on a saying that resonates with them. As a result of this work, personal stories are born, reflecting experiences, life stages, hidden emotions, and resources for overcoming them. To attend the event, don't forget to register in advance on the library's website. The St. Petersburg poster is available on KudaGo.
