Participants, together with the instructor, analyze excerpts of prose, listen to the rhythm of phrases, and compare the original with the translation. Suitable for those who want to read in French consciously. The group will work with short excerpts of prose and essays by French authors. First, participants read aloud, then together with the instructor, they analyze grammar and vocabulary, look for key words and fixed expressions, and compare French phrases with Russian ones. During the discussion, participants note words they want to add to their personal vocabulary and later use in their own speech. The class is designed for those who know the language at a level no lower than A2 but want to read in French more freely and confidently. After such a class, it will be easier to tackle new books, listen to podcasts, and watch movies without fear of unfamiliar words - and to remember that any difficult paragraph can be understood if approached calmly and attentively.
