Participants will recall the story of Narnia, discuss the child’s perspective on wonder, fear, and courage, and compare C.S. Lewis's book with its film adaptation. Sometimes a children’s book turns out to be more precise than many adult conversations about choice, loyalty, and fear. In the meeting, participants will return to C.S. Lewis's fairy tale and its famous screen version to look at the familiar plot more closely: not as a nostalgic symbol from childhood, but as a story in which fantasy helps to talk about growing up, trust, betrayal, and inner courage.
