The final meeting of the season will gather lovers of manga, manhwa, and Asian comic art. Club members will discuss what they have read and watched, explore different directions of the genre, and find new stories. Manga has long transcended the narrow fan circle: it is read by both teenagers and adults. The program of the meeting includes an introductory lecture, discussion, and a PowerPoint Party-a light and lively way to share favorite titles, observations, discoveries, and fan theories. Here, one can talk about what they have read and watched, ask questions, learn about the history of manga and its varieties, and at the same time, add to their personal list of works they have long wanted to get to. The conversation does not require encyclopedic knowledge: just an interest in the topic and a desire to listen to others. The host, Naya Zubakova, is an artist and an employee of the Hall of Fiction and Art at RGBM. The evening is suitable for anyone who loves Japanese culture, Asian comics, visual art, and informal discussions about books. Ideas on where to go in Moscow are collected on our website.
