The game of Go, which originated in ancient China, not only trains the mind but also becomes an engaging hobby for people of various ages and skills. At the meeting, everyone will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in this ancient strategic game. "Go Without Borders" is an inclusive club where anyone interested can get acquainted with one of the oldest board games. The game of Go, which has a history of over two thousand years, is interesting to people from different cultures and ages. The meeting will be led by Vadim Filippov, a master of sports in Russia and a champion in team competitions, who will talk about the history and rules of Go, as well as share practical tips for beginners and experienced players. At the club meetings, the theoretical part is always combined with practice. Participants learn the basic principles of the game, strategies, and tactics, and then practice them. Vadim Filippov helps beginners get settled, while advanced players can compete with each other. A distinctive feature of the club is its inclusivity: all sessions are accompanied by translation into Russian sign language, making the game accessible to people with hearing impairments.
