The anniversary edition of Boris Egorov's book is important for those interested in Russian literature, culture, and philosophy. The book was compiled by Boris Egorov shortly before his passing and is released on the centenary of his birth. It contains materials that showcase the breadth of his scientific interests: from the history of literature and public thought of the modern era to aesthetics, ethics, social psychology, cultural studies, poetry studies, structuralism, semiotics, and mathematical methods in the humanities. Sections related to the Tartu-Moscow School and Yuri Lotman hold special significance. Of particular interest are the correspondence with Nadezhda Mandelstam, diary entries about the Prague events of 1968, and notes on a business trip to Paris in 1971.
