The Center for Illustrated Stories is celebrating its anniversary by gathering fans of graphic art, authors, publishers, and comic researchers from all over the country. The Center for Illustrated Stories of the Russian State Library for Youth is celebrating its 15th anniversary. This event will be a celebration for everyone who follows the development of comic culture in Russia. The center was founded in 2010 and became the first venue in the country to consider comics as a full-fledged phenomenon of visual and book culture. Over the years, the team has collected the largest publicly accessible collection of graphic stories in Russia - about 7000 books and 1000 magazines in 15 languages. But it is not only the collection that makes the center unique: lectures, workshops, exhibitions, research projects are held here, and a whole community is formed.
