The seventh film festival "Lendok" will unite 40 films from 13 countries. From August 20 to 22, the "Lendok" film festival will take place in St. Petersburg, with competitive and non-competitive screenings held at the "Aurora" cinema. The festival continues its mission of strengthening international cultural ties, attracting participants from various countries, including India, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia. It has firmly established itself as a platform for dialogue between filmmakers from the CIS countries and representatives from other states. The festival program will showcase both feature and documentary films. This year, alongside the works of masters, debut films have been included to make the festival even more vibrant and capable of surprising. Audiences will see the story of a mother's search in "Fish on a Hook", the biopic "Makhtumkuli", the historical epic "Tamerlane", the film about the construction of a heliogeophysical complex "Service of the Sun", and other films. Admission to all screenings is free, but prior registration for the film of interest is required. To find out the detailed schedule of screenings, follow the updates on the "Aurora" cinema website.
