Join the historic tram parade in Moscow! A true celebration of the history of urban transport awaits you. Don't miss this event in Moscow's schedule! Residents and guests of the capital are invited on an exciting journey through the history of the Moscow tram. On April 6, we celebrate 127 years since trams first rolled along the cobbled streets of Moscow. In 1899, the first trains departed from the Butyrsky tram depot on the route Butyrskaya Zastava - Petrovsky Park. This year, the festive column will once again travel through the city, but on a new route: from Kursky Station to Sergiy Radonezhsky Street. You can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the late 19th - early 20th centuries at the retro car exhibition. It will open at the final location with the arrival of the trams. Here, there will also be an opportunity to visit the salons of vintage cars. Guests are also invited to enjoy concerts by the Moscow Metro Choir and the "Music in the Metro" project. Photo zones, workshops, reenactors, and an exhibition of historical uniforms of tram depot employees will add to the festive mood, which will continue with a concert by Yulia Savicheva. And, of course, don't miss the chance to enjoy delicious treats - for free. The parade is scheduled to start at 11:30, the vintage car exhibition will begin at 12:00, and Yulia Savicheva's concert will be at 16:00. Look for things to do in Moscow today on KUDAGO.
