In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Losev House invites you to an evening dedicated to the remarkable doctor, academician Fyodor Grigorievich Uglov (1904-2008). Guests of the meeting will enjoy an informal story about a man who became a symbol of self-sacrifice, courage, and dedication to his work. Guests will hear live memories from relatives, students, and associates of Fyodor Uglov - a man who devoted more than eighty years of his life to medicine. His fate is closely intertwined with the fate of the country: he survived the war, operated in frontline hospitals, developed a scientific school, advocated for a healthy lifestyle, and left a rich literary and humanitarian legacy. The evening will be complemented by a screening of a documentary film that reveals the scale of the academician's personality.
