The discussion series is dedicated to growing up - not in terms of age, but from a cultural and psychological perspective. Scientists, philosophers, educators, and other project participants will discuss what hinders people from growing up in modern conditions, and how maturity is related to freedom and responsibility. The project dedicated to growing up was launched in collaboration with the QUERCUS philosophical club. The boundaries of adulthood today are so blurred that it requires a rethinking of the concept itself and everything related to it. What is childhood, who is an adult, how and when does the transition to adult life occur, what hinders it and what facilitates it? These and other relevant questions will be discussed by linguists, philosophers, directors, psychologists, and educators. The first event of the series will be a discussion titled "Who is an Adult Today?". In the museum's cinema hall, psychologist Svetlana Shtukareva, philosopher Oleg Aronson, and educator-psychologist Irina Demyanenko will meet with the audience. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Fyokla Tolstaya. Participants will discuss various aspects of growing up and how the voice of an adult person sounds in the modern world. Additionally, within the framework of the series, the following discussions will take place: August 4 at 19:00 - "What is Childhood?"; August 20 at 19:00 - "Age of Maturity".
