Total Dictation is back! Participants will have three ways to test themselves: come to one of the venues, write online on the website, or by hand on a special form. On April 18, you will have the chance to shake off the dust and sit at your desk again to test your knowledge of the Russian language. Total Dictation is more than just a literacy check; it is an intellectual game and a challenge to oneself. Will you be able to write a text that makes even an excellent student in Russian think? Will you be among the best in your city? Will you prove to yourself that your language skills are in order? Total Dictation will take place at dozens of city venues. This time, the text for the dictation was written by the famous Russian writer Marina Moskvin. The readers, also known as "dictators," will be well-known people from St. Petersburg. This year, participants will be able to choose a suitable format from three possible options: in addition to the in-person format, the dictation can be written on a keyboard during the online broadcast. Your text will be automatically checked and graded. The third format - #writingathome - implies that participants will write the dictation remotely with a special pen and on a special form. Then you can check yourself or bring your work to the expert headquarters. Before the event, free preparatory courses are held, more details can be found on VKontakte.
