In November, special screenings in the original language with subtitles will take place at the cinema, prepared in collaboration with ArtPokaz. In November, #ARTPOKAZ and the Rodina Cinema unite under one poster three different worlds - from silent comedies of the early 20th century to post-Soviet drama and noir with elements of psychological thriller. The program will open with an evening of silent cinema featuring live jazz from the Easy Winners ensemble: viewers will see Charlie Chaplin's "The Tramp" and "The Idle Class," as well as Buster Keaton's "The Theatre." The cycle will continue with Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island" - an atmospheric detective story about the line between madness and truth. The program will conclude with the film "Crystal" by Daria Zhuk - a melancholic story of a female DJ searching for freedom and her own path. All films are shown in the original language with Russian subtitles. More information about the special screenings can be found on the cinema center's website.
