A medley of famous operettas directed by Alexander Titel and conducted by William Lacey. The operetta has returned to the stage of MAMT. In Alexander Titel's production, fragments of works by Jacques Offenbach, Franz Lehár, Johann Strauss, Karl Millöcker, Rudolf Friml, and other composers are combined. The festive atmosphere accompanying the operetta genre is emphasized by the set design and costumes by artist Vladimir Arefyev. The conductor is the maestro from the UK, William Lacey, whose collaboration with MAMT began in 2012 with Benjamin Britten's opera "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and continued with Mozart's "Don Giovanni." William Lacey conducts leading orchestras around the world, productions featuring Plácido Domingo, and has worked with the English National Opera and the San Francisco Opera.
