A joint production of the Electric Theatre and Teatro Español based on the work of Pedro Calderón. Spanish director Natalia Menendez staged the play of the Spanish Baroque classic Calderón. The translation of the play was specially done for the performance by Natalia Vankhanen. Calderón's philosophical drama is dedicated to the tragic rift between human desires and reality. On one hand, fate can crush all hopes, but on the other, it gives hope for life in a world full of wars and tragedies. The disrupted balance of war and peace, as well as the desire to restore harmony, is also an important theme of this project.
