A play based on the stories of Eduard Kochergin - a tale from post-war communal life in Petrograd. The war is over, Leningrad is beginning to revive, and along with it, street life with all its twists and turns. The heroines of Kochergin's stories are "botanical girls" who sell themselves near the Botanical Garden and together raise the daughter of their deceased friend. In the orphaned child, they strive to embody their dreams of another life - pure and beautiful, almost fairy-tale-like. Nikita Kobolev's play tells about the fragility and unpredictability of life, which can only be supported by human warmth and love. You can find even more plays on our website in the theater section.
