A production by a student of Peter Fomenko based on the work of the "Israeli Marquez." The play grew out of Vladimir Toptsov's performance at the "Evening of Trials and Errors" - a traditional closed event of the Master Workshop of Peter Fomenko, where directors and actors of the theater showcase any independent works. Taking the sketch to a full production was student Yuri Butorin, who paired with Toptsov actor Nikolai Orlovsky. The basis of the play is one of the plot lines in the novel "How Several Days" by the famous contemporary writer Meir Shalev, who has already been dubbed the "Israeli Marquez" by the press. The audience sees the joint meals of two men that take place once a decade. These are Yakov and his possible son Zeide, whose mother refused Yakov at the wedding: she simply did not come to the ceremony, sending little Zeide with a wedding dress. Out of grief, the groom married the dress, and for the rest of his life was tormented by questions of what happened and who the real father of Zeide is. During the meetings, the characters recall the past, cook real soup on stage, and ponder philosophical questions. Special attention should be paid to the musical accompaniment: there is tango, and the anthem of Israel performed by the U.S. Navy Orchestra, and the band Animals with the classics House Of The Rising Sun and I'm Crying.
