They all hope that a man will return to the house and everything will be different. Their conversations are either memories or reflections on what could have happened. In reality, nothing happens to them, and they only think they are living. Their entire life is an expectation that will never come to anything. The cult French author Jean-Luc Lagarse placed great importance on the language of his works. In all his plays, it is the language that sets the rhythm and conveys the characters' feelings.
