A night in one act - a play by Evgeny Grishkovets directed by the author. Evgeny Grishkovets completed work on the play "Scales" in January 2016. A year later, the famous playwright and director, along with the actors of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, began working on the staging of the fresh text. The production became Grishkovets' twelfth directorial work, which he initially did not plan to stage himself. Describing the first stage of work on the play in his blog, the author admits that during the work on "Scales" he repeatedly thought about how complex staging tasks are for directors. The play, according to Grishkovets, turned out to be "short and tender," and its action unfolds in a provincial maternity hospital. See more performances on our website in the theater section.
